I met Dave only recently at a BENS sponsored dinner in DC. He made an immediate impression on me through his genuine concern for the military and his desire to help soldiers. My family’s most sincere condolences to his family.

David and I were friends since pre school. We both are “lifers” from Pembroke Country Day School (now Pembroke Hill), class of 1982. During my 20 year active duty career with the Navy flying EA-6B Prowlers, David was always incredibly supportive and always took an interest in my career, the Navy in general as well as National Security Issues. I count myself fortunate to call David a friend of 44 years standing, and my family is praying for David’s family. I am saddened and shocked.
