The CGSC Foundation has selected marketing/social media specialist Linda Carpentier as the Person of the Month for July 2017.
A native of St. Louis, Linda has called the Leavenworth/Lansing area home since 2006. Her husband, Lt. Col. Chris Carpentier, has been deployed during that time while Linda and their three children, Claudia, Brandon and Nicholas, have remained here. A fourth child, Elle was born in 2014.
“Linda has been with the Foundation since 2013,” said Ann Soby, CGSC Foundation director of operations. “During her four years at the Foundation, she has assisted with every event and program. She was constantly improving our database, which now provides us with information accessible at a moment’s notice. Also, Linda’s innovative ideas, insight and knowledge of current media channels have taught us yet another way to connect with our donors and friends of the Foundation. For those of us in the ‘seasoned’ generation, she taught us how easy it is.”
Although Carpentier will be leaving the Fort Leavenworth area, she will continue managing the Foundation’s social media presence from her home at Fort Riley, Kansas.
“We are glad she isn’t going far and we’ll be able to keep in touch with her,” said Soby.
“Leaving here will be hard for me,” said Carpentier. “I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with a staff who is dedicated to enriching the lives of the CGSC students and their families.”
We salute Linda for her contributions to the CGSC Foundation mission and wish her family well as they embark on a new adventure. – Linda Carpentier is our “Person of the Month” for July 2017.
