Command and General Staff College Foundation

The Command and General Staff College Foundation, Inc., (CGSCF) is a 501 (C)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit educational foundation that provides resources and support to the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC) in the development of tomorrow’s military leaders. The CGSCF helps to advance the profession of military art and science by promoting the welfare and enhancing the prestigious educational programs of the CGSC.

Our Vision

The CGSC Foundation’s vision is to become a supporting organization that is widely recognized as the national leader in membership, programs, innovation, and support to the US Army Command and General Staff College to advance its core mission of educating leaders for the challenges of the 21st century.

Our Mission

The mission of the CGSC Foundation is to:

• Enrich the College’s academic environment
• Foster a strong relationship between the military and the
private sector
• Enhance the institution’s research activities
• Promote leader development
• Encourage excellence in the faculty and student body
• Maintain contact with alumni

The Foundation supports the College’s many areas of focus by providing financial and research support for symposia, conferences, and lectures, as well as funding and organizing community outreach activities that help connect the American public to their Army.

The CGSC Foundation is funded through private donations and its board of trustees is staffed with distinguished retired military leaders, business executives, community leaders and others who are focused on providing the margin of excellence to the educational programs of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
