Mobile Reasoning

Mobile Reasoning was founded in 2003 to create a new type of wireless mobile software technology called DataSwarm® for building next-generation command and control (C4I) and logistics applications that directly support individuals in the field and on-the-move. DataSwarm provides individuals with higher quality, more timely information and better decision-making tools, whether they are a warfighter, emergency responder, or civil affairs contributor.

For more than seventeen years, the firm’s technical leadership team of Dr. Scott Bublin, Bill Burdick, and Dr. John Stutz has been working together developing innovative software products for building real-time Internet applications and wireless mobile systems. They have helped solve some of most challenging business technology problems faced by the Fortune Global 500 including AIG, AT&T, Bank One, Disney, JP Morgan Chase, Sprint, and Vodafone.

In 2006, Mobile Reasoning deployed its first DataSwarm-powered system for a national health care supplier building a hosted patient care solution. Mobile Reasoning helped develop the application, the nation-wide data center that supports it, and roll-out the system to health care providers across the country where it’s used to support patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Currently, Mobile Reasoning is applying DataSwarm to the ever increasing wireless mobile information requirements of today’s Army. The firm is developing an individual force protection system for soldiers, a collaborative field service and maintenance application, and a C4I system for stability, security, transition, and reconstruction operations and disaster relief.

Mobile Reasoning has supported the CGSC Foundation since its inception, having donated more than $10,000 and pledged another $20,000.

“CGSC is such a critical component in the development of the Army’s future leaders, and the Foundation is bringing additional resources to make a great institution even better,” said Dr. Bublin, who also serves as a Trustee on the Foundation’s Board.
