The military and the private sector differ in how they develop leaders. – The CGSC Foundation’s “Leaders of Tomorrow” program brings these two groups together, offering symposia and other events that allow attendees to address leader development through the lens of both their personal and organizational perspectives. On March 29, the CGSC Foundation and Park University will host the next Leaders of Tomorrow symposium focused on many facets of leadership including: ethics, innovation, motivation, teamwork and passion.
To kick off the symposium, after welcome remarks by Park University President Dr. Greg Gunderson and CGSC Foundation Vice Chairman Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Richard Keller, the Honorable Kay Barnes, former mayor of Kansas City and current senior academic advisor to Park University, will provide morning keynote remarks. After the keynote, attendees will participate in roundtable discussion groups. The highlight of the afternoon will be the keynote address from Anthony Melchiorri, hospitality expert and well-known host of the Travel Channel’s popular program “Hotel Impossible.” Melchiorri will discuss “Turning Passion into Leadership.”
