No. 11/Fall 2011 (October)

This, the eleventh edition of the CGSC Foundation News, has some great features included. From the Distinguished Leadership Award for Gen. Shelton, to the photo spread of our Chairman’s parachute jump and first golf tournament, we have much to tell you about. A new section, “In Print,” starts on page 32. In this section we intend to provide information about books written by CGSC staff, faculty and alumni. Also, as with the Spring edition this year, note that our logo on the cover celebrates our fifth year of support to the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. We’ve come a long way in five short years and we’re still building momentum. Thanks to all of you for your support in helping us provide the “margin of excellence” to the College.

No. 10/Spring 2011 (April)

This is our tenth edition of the CGSC Foundation News and it comes during a very busy time in the life of the Foundation. Note that our logo on the cover celebrates our fifth year of support to the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. We’ve come a long way in five short years and could not have done it without your support. In this issue we highlight our family support efforts and efforts of those such as Holly Petraeus to make life better for military families. We’re also proud of the first anniversary of the Simons Center and all of the other programs we work so hard to provide the “margin of excellence” for in the College. Enjoy this issue.

No. 9/Fall 2010 (November)

In this edition we highlight the President’s signing of the 5-Star Generals Commemorative Coin Act into law and the 2010 Distinguished Leadership Award presented to Mr. Ross Perot…and much more. Also, attached to this edition is a Special Report from the Summit on Entrepreneurship and Expeditionary Economics conducted at the Kauffman Foundation, May 25-27.

No. 8/Spring 2010 (March)

In this eighth edition we celebrate the generous gift from H. Ross Perot, give you an update about the commemorative coin bill and enjoy some great field reporting from our former CAC Commander/Commandant, Lt. Gen. Bill Caldwell. As a late breaking addition, we have some photos of the change of command ceremony with new Commander/Commandant, Lt. Gen. Robert L. Caslen, Jr. As is typical, there are so many great things happening in the Foundation and at the College we have a hard time doing justice to them all with the space available. We hope you enjoy the magazine and continue to support us as we strive to provide the “Margin of Excellence” to the Command and General Staff College.
