Partner Spotlight – Biringer’s Shop and Service

Biringer’s Shop and Service in Leavenworth, Kansas is selected as the CGSC Foundation Corporate Partner for July 2017.

“The CGSC Foundation is fortunate to have such a great partner in Biringer’s.” said Ann Soby, CGSC Foundation director of operations. “I know I can rely on them to provide a quality product. The owners, Paige and Mike Frasher understand customer service and only deliver

a product that is exactly what was ordered and usually completed in one day… and in some cases, hours. I’m not sure another business would be as accommodating.”

Biringer’s performs most of the awards engraving for the Foundation. This is an especially important business relationship for the Foundation for the International Hall of Fame gifts, for the student exchange program and during the CGSC graduation season in which the Foundation sponsors the majority of all the graduation awards for each class.

“Biringer’s has also been generous with their support of our mission,” said Soby. “They were one of the first to become a sponsor for the Women’s Conference, so it’s not just about a business relationship…they’re part of the team.”

Biringer’s has one of the more interesting histories of any of the Foundation’s corporate partners. They’ve been in business since 1859…and they’ve been in the same location in Leavenworth for 153 of those 158 years. They offer a full range of lock and key services, including emergency mobile service, as well as residential and commercial installations and service. The other part of their business is engraving and they offer a wide selection of gifts, trophies and other items for engraving.
