Public invited to ‘High Five Tour’ event May 15

The Wounded Warriors Family Support “2018 High Five Tour” will be at the 35th Infantry Division Headquarters on Fort Leavenworth (881 McClellan Ave.) from 4-6 p.m. on May 15. The public is invited.

The High Five Tour is an annual road trip where the Wounded Warriors Family Support organization travels around the U.S. thanking Americans for their appreciation and support of our nation’s military families for the sacrifices that they make when America goes to war.

The 2018 tour marks the 9th annual High Five Tour. For eight months beginning in April 2018, a mobility-equipped 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor will travel the United States. At the end of the tour, a deserving veteran and family will receive the truck. During each stop on the tour, including this one on May 15, the public is invited to come show support, view and sign the truck with a message of support to veterans and their families.
