On September 6, 2011, the day before his 82nd birthday, Lt. Gen. Robert Arter, U.S. Army Ret., parachuted into the CGSC Foundation’s First Annual Golf Tournament. It was quite the entrance!

Arter was the founding chairman of the CGSC Foundation, serving from the Foundation’s incorporation in December 2005 until retiring in September 2014. He was also the Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army for the east region of Kansas from November 2005 until March 2018.

Lt. Gen. Arter made his tandem jump with Mike Elliot, a former U.S. Army Special Forces Soldier and the Ranger Group Team Captain. Other members of the Ranger Group team also jumped with Elliot and Arter.
