The CGSC Foundation has selected Linda Carpentier, Margie Banach, Amy Pike, Marlee Marshall and Elesa Johnson, the volunteer committee for the Foundation’s 2016 Women’s Conference, as the Persons of the Month for March 2016.
“These events just don’t happen,” said Ann Soby, CGSC Foundation’s director of operations. “You need to find just the right ladies to be on the committee who are energetic, enthusiastic and can make things happen. I was lucky and found five who were willing to join me on planning the conference.”
The volunteer committee members were responsible for assisting with not only planning and preparation such as decorations and multiple other tasks for the conference, but also helping provide information and direction to conference attendees. They all also participated in various sessions during the conference.
The CGSC Foundation salutes the 2016 Women’s Conference volunteer committee for their service to the conference and the women who attended it. Initial feedback from the conference has been very positive and their efforts were key in providing that great experience for attendees.
