Warriors’ Ascent is founded and led by Warriors who have experienced their own moral injuries and have dedicated themselves to creating a path of healing for our nation’s veterans and first responders. Jeffrey Bryne & Associates specializes in assisting nonprofits with fundraising goals.

Doug Tystad, president/CEO of the Foundation, led Kenny and Lord through the Fort Leavenworth Hall of Fame displays in the atrium of the Lewis and Clark Center. They also visited General MacArthur’s room, Eisenhower Hall, then discussed the art and gift collection on display throughout the College, much of which is presented each year by international officers. They also learned about the stained glass windows and paintings that the U.S. officer-students have presented as gifts to the College.

After the tour, Tystad explained more about the Foundation’s role in family programs. Both Kenny and Lord also discussed ways that Warriors’ Ascent and the CGSC Foundation might find mutually beneficial ways to partner.
