FORT LEAVENWORTH, Kan. (May 2, 2025) The CGSC Foundation today announced its newly launched website – cgscfoundation.org – has received a “Hermes Gold” award from Hermes Creative Awards, an international competition administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) in Dallas, Texas.

“We’re proud to receive this kind of validation,” said Foundation President/CEO Lora Morgan, “Developing a new website has been on our to-do list for a few years and we finally were able to put together the right budget and the right team to make it happen. I want to thank our lead web developer/designer Jordan Smith, from hirejordansmith.com, project lead Mark H. Wiggins, our contracted communications director, and Elizabeth Hill, our assistant operations officer, for their hard work and dedication in creating this new website.”
The Foundation launched its new website March 16 after a five-month project period. During the final stages of development, the team conducted surveys with a select group of trustees, faculty, students, alumni, family members and non-Army-affiliated civilians to provide feedback.
Hermes Creative Awards recognizes outstanding work in the creative industry. According to their winners announcement, this year’s competition attracted more than 6,000 entries from across the United States, Canada and 30 other countries. Submissions came from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies, and freelancers.
The 2025 winners were chosen across more than 200 categories encompassing advertising, publications, marketing/branding, integrated marketing, public relations/communications, electronic media, and pro bono work. There are three levels of Hermes Awards – Platinum and Gold and Honorable Mention – as evaluated by judges and reviewed by AMCP staff. There are no lengthy essays required in the submission process, so each entry is evaluated solely on its own quality, creativity, and resourcefulness.
