About Me

Leslie M. Schweitzer has served on the CGSC Foundation Board of Trustees since August 2019. She was elected Regional Vice Chair (Eastern) in September 2024.

Schweitzer is the founder and chair of the Friends of the American University of Afghanistan. Her career in international business and development spans over four decades. She pioneered American business in China in the 70’s, and was instrumental in constructing the International Center for Afghan Women’s Economic Development. Leslie received an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters degree from the American University of Afghanistan.
