CGSC Foundation, K-State, U.S. Army CGSC conduct Homeland Security Symposium
A curriculum program addressing homeland security and emergency management issues will soon be unveiled, thanks to a collaborative effort between the Army's Command and General Staff College and Kansas State University. The Command and General Staff College Foundation, Inc., and Kansas State University in support of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College will host a Homeland Security Symposium, March 15, 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Lewis and Clark Center, to review the program and participate in discussions about homeland security issues.

President signs 5-Star Commemorative Coin Act into law



After nearly two years of research, letter writing campaigns, visits to Congress and phone calls, the Command and General Staff College Foundation has finally succeeded in shepherding the “5-Star General Commemorative Coin Act” through the House and the Senate with the requisite number of cosponsors. The President signed the bill into law on October 8, 2010.
