CGSC Foundation Alumni, Friends, and Supporters –

Greetings and Happy New Year from Fort Leavenworth! As we begin 2022, please allow me to thank those of you who supported our 2021 Giving Tuesday effort, 2021 End-of-Year campaign, and our 2021 Wreaths Across America effort. While we are still receiving donations and Alumni updates from our end-of-year campaign, your support of both our Giving Tuesday and end-of-year campaigns are similar to what you provided in 2020. – Thank You! And your support to our Wreaths Across America goal of sponsoring and placing 900 wreaths on our assigned section of the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery was met and surpassed! This was a wonderful community-wide effort to not only honor our comrades buried in the fort’s cemetery but also served to recognize that we are a community that remembers and takes care of our own. Thank you for supporting this effort.

The challenges of COVID-19 persist into the new year. I call upon you all to help your Foundation to continue its important work of providing the margin of excellence to the professional military educational experience of the students, faculty, and their families who are persevering through the various curricula the College offers. Your support in 2022 is needed now more than ever. I ask you to purposefully consider donating this first quarter of the year to support our scholarship and academic awards programs and to pledge to participate in at least two of our program activities.
