The CGSC Foundation has selected Dave Rogan, head of classroom services for the Command and General Staff College, as the DaveRogan-wPerson of the Month for November 2015.

Rogan, whose official title is “Supervisory Classroom Support Coordinator,” is a well-known staff member with a reputation of friendly, efficient support that is very important to the staff and faculty. Rogan has a long history with CGSC having been employed as a contractor for 21 years and now six years as a Department of the Army civilian. He oversees a nine-member crew and is responsible for managing classroom services, mail/distribution, warehouse operations and college supply support. He also develops and coordinates support to a wide variety of conference rooms, classrooms, auditoriums, guest speakers, functions, General Officer Forums and other ceremonies for the college and higher-level organizations.

Rogan is a Vietnam-era veteran having served in the U.S. Army from 1969-1971. Upon learning the Foundation was going to highlight him as a “Person of the Month” Rogan made sure to point out the foundation of both his personal and professional life.

“I’m not good at blowing my own horn,” Rogan said, “but I would like something said about my family’s support, which has gotten me a long way.”

From the Foundation’s perspective, Ann Soby, Foundation business director, said that Rogan’s support was key when working with CGSC.

“Dave and his staff provide very professional help and support when we have co-sponsored events with the College,” Soby said. “It is truly appreciated.”

Much deserved recognition and thanks go to Rogan and his staff from everyone.
