Foundation CEO Doug Tystad and Foundation Director of Development Joan Cabell hosted a CGSC “Walk and Talk” for three Kansas City area businessmen and two representatives from the Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri–Kansas City on Dec. 17, 2015. Tystad and Cabell led the group around CGSC’s Lewis and Clark Center introducing them to the facility and the historical artifacts there. They also provided the group with some background on the CGSC mission and the military officer students that attend it. They also had the opportunity to sit in on a class with Dr. Tom Ward from CGSC’s Department of Logistics and Resource Operations. Dr. Jack Kem from CGSC’s Department of Joint, Interagency and Multinational Operations took the time to further discuss the College and its curriculum with the group. Drs. War and Kem deserve many thanks for making the group’s visit more fulfilling.
During their tour of the Lewis and Clark Center the group took the opportunity to take a photo in the MacArthur Room behind Gen. MacArthur’s actual desk.
