The CGSC Foundation is teaming with the CGSC Department of Military History, the U.S. Army Garrison at Fort Leavenworth and the Henry Leavenworth Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) to launch a new lecture series on the 50th Commemoration of the Vietnam War. The first lecture is set for March 23, from 5-7 p.m. at the Riverfront Community Center in downtown Leavenworth, Kansas. Dr. Jim Willbanks, director of the CGSC Department of Military History, will present the first lecture focused on the causes leading up to the war.
The event is free and open to the public.
