Advantage Printing in Leavenworth, Kansas is selected as the CGSC Foundation Corporate Partner for February 2017.

The relationship with the CGSC Foundation and Advantage Printing has been ongoing since the inception of the Foundation in 2006.

“Advantage Printing and owner Curt Gilfert have been very good to our Foundation,” said Doug Tystad, CGSC Foundation CEO. “They’ve always gone the extra mile to ensure our print projects are on-time, within budget and high quality. They understand our mission and have come through for us on numerous occasions with short deadlines. We’ve come to count on Curt to make it happen.”

Advantage Printing has supported the Foundation’s mission not only with their printing services, but also with their financial means. Advantage has sponsored several Foundation events over the years and has sponsored the Foundation-hosted Women’s Conference for the past two years.

“Some things in your work you simply just count on,” said Ann Soby, Foundation director of operations, “and for us, getting our print projects accomplished at Advantage is one of them. We know they’ll come through every time.”

Curt Gilfert started Advantage Printing in 1997, running the business by himself out of his garage. In 2005, he acquired Superior Printing, a 90-year-old printing business, and moved his operation to its current location at 510 Cherokee Street in Leavenworth. Growing up in Leavenworth, Curt realized the impact that Fort Leavenworth has on the local business community and established close relationships not only with his local hometown base, but also with Fort Leavenworth and the military community to provide timely, cost-effective solutions for their print communications and marketing pieces. He remains active in the community, serving in the Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce and the Leavenworth County Historical Society, and is a 20-year member of the Kiwanis Club.

Advantage Printing offers a full repertoire of commercial printing options as well as walk-in copy/fax services. In order to stay up with customer demands, Advantage has recently added a new DGT (direct to garment) printer, as well as a large format latex color printer for banners and signage. Stop by or set up an appointment with Advantage Printing by calling 913-727-3650.

The CGSC Foundation is proud to spotlight Advantage Printing for their support of the Foundation and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
