Geiger Ready-Mix in Kansas City, Kan., is selected as the CGSC Foundation Corporate Partner for January 2016.
Geiger Ready-Mix has come on board with the CGSC Foundation in support of its National Security Roundtable Program at the College. Geiger Ready-Mix owner Bill Geiger and President/CEO Steve McDonald participated in the program in December 2014 and 2015 respectively.
The NSRT program is one of the Foundation and the College’s key outreach events conducted twice annually. To date this program has educated and informed nearly 200 business and community leaders from around the nation by offering them an opportunity to interact with the future leaders of our military in an academic setting. During the roundtable events, business leaders are paired with our military officer students to learn collaboratively about contemporary national security issues. With testimonials such as “This program is a must for any freedom loving American,” and “I sure sleep better at night after spending time with these warriors”— it is apparent the program is effective.
“Having Geiger Ready-Mix leadership attend our NSRT programs these past two years has been wonderful,” said CGSC Foundation’s Director of Development Joan Cabell. “Now because of their positive experiences in the program they have stepped up with sponsorship to help us continue the program…and we can’t thank them enough.”
