The World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial is hosting an evening entitled “Protecting the Peace: United Nations Peacekeepers in the 21st Century” on Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the J.C. Nichols Auditorium and Lobby in the museum (2 Memorial Dr., Kansas City, Mo. 64108).
The event features a panel of international military officers from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College who will discuss their experiences in peacekeeping operations around the world. The event is free with an RSVP.– Visit the WWI Museum event page for more information and to register.
