Members of the CGSC Women and Leadership program gathered on March 7, 2023 to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, and reconnect after a break during the winter months.

The group first rallied at the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion monument on Fort Leavenworth for a group photo then met at a member’s home on-post for a social event.

The “Women and Leadership” program is open to women of all nationalities, services, and agencies attending CGSC. Participants in the program are linked to a network of volunteer mentors who coach them through their academic year and possibly into the future. Students and mentors are encouraged to meet at least once a month, and social events are conducted monthly. The CGSC Foundation is a sponsor of the program providing support and resources to help make each program event successful.
