Women’s Conference set for March 2-3, 2016

WomensConf-horizThe CGSC Foundation will host a Women’s Conference, March 2-3, at the Frontier Conference Center.

The Women’s  Conference is open to all female active duty Soldiers, U.S. and international military spouses, government employees and contractors associated with Fort Leavenworth.  The purpose is to provide an event that will offer information and classes of subjects that are of interest to women.  The theme of the conference and our goal is to INSPIRE,  EDUCATE  & MOTIVATE.

The Conference is truly a “ladies night out” and will begin with an evening event on March 2 at the Frontier Conference Center.  There will be fun classes, wine tasting and a surprise activity.  We will continue the following day, March 3 for a full day of classes that are educational, informative  and fun.  The subjects will include finances, entrepreneurship, women’s health, cooking and gardening.

As a courtesy to all the attendees, no children of any age will be permitted in any of the classrooms.   We are sorry for the inconvenience but this is strictly an adult event. However, on-site childcare is available on Thursday only.– Reservations can be made by calling the Child Development Center at 913-684-5138. Spaces are limited.

Registration is limited to 200 for the Conference. See the full agenda and register now by clicking the button below.

REGISTRATION CLOSED.

  1. If it is open to “The Women’s  Conference is open to all female, active duty Soldiers, U.S. and international military spouses, government employees and contractors associated with Fort Leavenworth.” Why is it only focused on women only? Not all active duty soldiers are women, norspouses, contractors, etc…and if it is truly open to all, wouldn’t it be better to call it something else rather a “ladies night out”?

    • Don’t understand your confusion– this is a “Women’s Conference”…so if you’re a female Soldier, female spouse of a Soldier, female government employee or contractor, etc., this conference is for you. If you’re male, it isn’t for you. That said, if you are male and really want to attend this anyway, contact the Foundation…I’m sure they would accommodate you.
