Lee immigrated with his family from Taiwan in 1995 and settled in Kansas City. He became a major shareholder of DuraComm Power Supplies in 1995 and became its sole owner in 2008. He has been a member of the CGSC Foundation board of trustees since 2015 and over the years has become a widely known and respected entrepreneur in the KC business community. He was also selected by Nonprofit Connect as the 2014 Kansas City Philanthropist of the Year.
Lee’s DuraComm Power Supplies company offers power supplies and solutions for communications systems. He recently added a subsidiary named DuraComm Lighting. The Business Journal article focuses on Lee’s leadership of this new company and its products.
