A Celebration of International Friendship



Since 1895 international military officers from around the world have  come to Fort Leavenworth to study military art and science at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC) at Fort Leavenworth, Kan.

This event is open to the public. Come help us celebrate and welcome this year’s class of officers in a black tie event at Kansas City’s Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts on Aug. 22 at 7 p.m.

This celebration of international friendship is presented by the Founding Sponsor, The Beaham Family, in memory of David Beaham and hosted by the CGSC Foundation in partnership with the Greater Kansas City Chapter of People to People and the Park University International Center for Music.

The evening will begin at 7 p.m. with a reception followed by the Introduction of the Command and General Staff College International Students, remarks by the mayors of Kansas City, Kansas and Missouri and a performance by students of the Park University International Center for Music.
