Lockheed Martin Corporation is selected as the CGSC Foundation Corporate Partner for November 2015.
Lockheed Martin has generously supported the CGSC Foundation this year, most notably with their support of the General of the Armies John J. Pershing Great War Centennial Series, an educational outreach lecture series program led by the CGSC Department of History and supported by the CGSC Foundation. Their support was key in the most recent lecture in the series in bringing in Dr. David R. Stone, a professor on the faculty of the U.S. Naval War College’s Department of Strategy and Policy, to present an outstanding lecture on “The Great War in the East.”
“Most of our lecturers in the Pershing Series are from our own military history department here at CGSC,” said Doug Tystad, Foundation CEO. “But this time, we were compelled to bring in an expert on the subject at hand. Without Lockheed Martin’s support we couldn’t have pulled it off the way that we did. We’re grateful to them and look forward to engaging with them in support of other programs here at the College.”
