Promoting leader development and recognizing excellence in leadership is one of the Foundation’s core missions. Raytheon’s financial contribution to the CGSC Foundation’s Distinguished Leadership Award program in 2014 was central to that program’s success. The Foundation’s support to the College in this program continues in 2015 with graduation awards and other efforts to publicly recognize leadership excellence.

“We want to publicly thank Bob Williams, Raytheon’s Global Training Solutions vice president, for his support,” said Foundation CEO Doug Tystad. “His company stepped up last year to support our Distinguished Leadership Award program which was key in helping us honor a significant leader in Mr. Ken Fisher, CEO of the Fisher House Foundation. Part of leader development is identifying what ‘right looks like,’ and between the efforts of leaders like Mr. Fisher and corporations like Raytheon, we believe we’re on the right path.”
