Geiger Ready-Mix in Kansas City, Kan., is selected as the CGSC Foundation Corporate Partner for March 2020.
“Leaders from Geiger Ready-Mix have participated in and supported CGSC Foundation programs numerous times in the past,” said Foundation President/CEO Rod Cox. “From our National Security Roundtable Program to our leader development programs, they’ve always had a presence here at the College. They have also generously supported the NSRT as a sponsor.”
The NSRT program is one of the Foundation and the College’s key outreach events conducted twice annually. To date the Foundation and the College have conducted 22 NSRT programs, educating and informing more than 300 business and community leaders from around the nation by offering them an opportunity to interact with the future leaders of our military in an academic setting. Leader development programs such as the Executive Leadership Summit in which Geiger leadership has participated are intended to provide military and civilian sector leaders to learn about leader development and education from one another.
“We’re honored to have had a relationship with leaders from Geiger Ready-Mix,” said Cox. “Their long-standing presence and excellence in the Kansas City business community and their core values are examples to follow. ”
The Geiger Ready-Mix history in the greater Kansas City area dates back to the 1860’s when Gottlieb Geiger started a small construction contracting business performing odd jobs in Leavenworth, Kansas. Today the Geiger family remains involved in leading the company, running five different concrete supply facilities around the KC metro area.
