Northrop Grumman’s Technical Services business sector is selected as the CGSC Foundation Corporate Partner for February/March 2015.

As one of the leading defense industry contributors to the doctrine and training mission at Fort Leavenworth, Northrop Grumman’s Technical Services sector has stepped up to support the Foundation’s programs in support of Soldiers and families. Their financial contribution to the Foundation will specifically support our planned Women’s Conference in September 2015, yoga instruction as part of the resiliency training for families and the Summer Reading program for children at the Combined Arms Research Library.

“We’d like to give special thanks to John Blasser, our local point of contact for Northrop Grumman,” said Doug Tystad, CGSC Foundation CEO. “The support he helped spearhead is being directly infused into some of our key programs that support Soldiers and families at CGSC and across the entire post. We’re proud to have them as a Corporate Partner.”

Northrop Grumman Technical Services is focused on creating innovative, cost-effective logistics solutions. From modernization and sustainment, to supply chain management, training and simulation, and automated test equipment, they offer a full-spectrum of support to meet any mission requirement. Locally, NGTS was the fifth largest employer in Leavenworth County and the largest non-governmental employer in the county in 2013 with little change in 2014. They support three major training programs from three separate offices in the Fort Leavenworth/Leavenworth area: the Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) under CAC-Training; the Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) for Army National Guard units located at the Mission Training Center at Fort Leavenworth; and the African Contingency Operations Training Assistance program (ACOTA) for the Department of State. In addition, they support doctrine development, training product development – especially the Combined Arms Training Strategies, and digital instruction for smaller programs on the Fort.
