Former CGSC Deputy Commandant and Foundation trustee Lt. Gen. Robert H. Forman, U.S. Army, Ret., died Jan, 26, 2015, at age 84. Forman served as the deputy commandant of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College from July 1979 through February 1981, and was a CGSC Foundation trustee from 2007 until 2013.
Registration for students and invited guests to the 2015 Fort Leavenworth Ethics Symposium is open. The 2015 Fort Leavenworth Ethics Symposium will be conducted April 20-23. This year’s theme is “The Professional Ethic and the State.”
In the coming months, unescorted Fort Leavenworth visitors and contractors who don’t have approved common access cards or Department of Defense identification cards will be required to park, get out of their vehicles and check-in at a new provisional visitor control center for required criminal background checks to gain entry to post.

The CGSC Foundation was privileged to host Lt. Col. Faye Knodle, U.S. Army National Guard, Retired, to Fort Leavenworth and the Command and General Staff College for a two-day visit Dec. 11-12.
The CGSC Foundation hosted a luncheon on Dec. 5 in honor of retired Col. Roger Donlon on the 50th Anniversary of his award of the Medal of Honor.
