The CGSC Foundation hosted its annual holiday “Friends of the Foundation Appreciation Luncheon” for its suppliers, providers and other partners on Dec. 11 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., at June’s Northland in downtown Leavenworth, Kansas.
COVID-19 restrictions were observed and masks were required except when eating and the room was set to social distancing standards. A carry-out optional was provided for those that did not wish to stay and dine in.
Thanks to everyone that came by to celebrate the year and the holidays with the Foundation. A special highlight of the day was the Foundation’s founding chairman, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Robert Arter, who stopped in and had lunch with everyone. Current Chairman Mike Hockley, President/CEO Rod Cox, Director of Operations Lora Morgan, and the Director of Development/Founding CEO Bob Ulin, shared lunch with Arter, along with Foundation trustees Pat Proctor and Chris Kuckelman, and the outgoing CGSC Distinguished Chair for National Intelligence Studies Kevin Rousseau.
June Meyer, the owner of June’s Northland, assisted Cox with the drawing for the Foundation’s 2020 holiday ornament. – The winners were Dave Rogan, supervisor, Army University Classroom Services, and Lilibeth Stratton, Army University mail control specialist.
