National Library Workers Day

National Library Workers Day

Today, April 6, is National Library Workers Day. The CGSC Foundation would like to say a special “Thank You!” to Sierra Hochstatter, Community Technician at the Ike Skelton Combined Arms Research Library at Fort Leavenworth.

Sierra Hochstatter CARL Community Technician

The Foundation has worked closely with Sierra over the past year to make sure the students and families stationed at Fort Leavenworth have access to the fun and engaging programs provided by the library. Foundation staff look forward to Sierra’s visits and we’re always happy to help the library and their staff.

April is the Month of the Military Child, but for Sierra and the rest of the staff at CARL every month is Month of the Military Child. They pour their hearts into serving the community and that has really showed during the pandemic through the StoryWalk® and Community Reads programs.

Thank you to Sierra and the rest of the CARL staff! Your work means a lot to the Fort Leavenworth community.
