The CGSC Foundation published the report from the Homeland Security Symposium in July 2011. The HLS Symposium was cohosted by the CGSC Foundation and Kansas State University in support of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College from March 14-15, 2011, at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

A curriculum program addressing homeland security and emergency management issues will soon be unveiled, thanks to a collaborative effort between the Army's Command and General Staff College and Kansas State University.
The Command and General Staff College Foundation, Inc., and Kansas State University in support of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College will host a Homeland Security Symposium, March 15, 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Lewis and Clark Center, to review the program and participate in discussions about homeland security issues.
