Robert Arter, U.S. Army Ret., the 81-year-old Chairman of the Command and General Staff College Foundation, Inc., and the Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army for the state of Kansas, made a tandem jump onto the golf course at Fort Leavenworth as the kickoff for the CGSC Foundation’s First Annual Golf Tournament at 10 a.m., Sept. 6.

The CGSC Foundation’s Col. Arthur D. Simons Center for the Study of Interagency Cooperation is conducting its second annual CGSC Faculty Interagency Writing Competition. The deadline for the précis for papers in this year’s competition is April 15. The deadline for submitting completed papers deadline is Sept. 1.
